1) All-Rounder Pasture Lick (Beef & Dairy)

• Use: Maintenance & moderate production on mixed pastures.
• Typical Composition (% or ppm):
• • Ca 12% | P 6% | NaCl 25% | Mg 3% | S 2%
  • Zn 3000 ppm | Cu 1200 ppm | Mn 2000 ppm | Co 20 ppm | I 50 ppm | Se 20 ppm
  • Vit A 300,000 IU/kg | Vit D3 40,000 IU/kg | Vit E 800 IU/kg
• Target intake: 80–120 g/animal/day

2) High-Phosphorus Breeder Lick

• Use: Pre-breeding, breeding & early lactation; low-P grazing
• Typical Composition: Ca 10% | P 12% | NaCl 20% | Mg 3% | S 2%
• • Trace/vitamins as above (slightly elevated Vit A/E)
• Target intake: 100–150 g/animal/day

3) Drought & Winter Support Lick

• Use: Protein-poor or mature, dry forage; supports rumen microbes.
• Includes: Urea-free option; extra Mg, S, and Vit A
• Target intake: 80–120 g/animal/day

4) Feedlot Finisher Mineral (Loose)

• Use: High-energy TMR/ration balancing
• Includes: Buffers, extra Zn & Cu for hoof/skin, Se + Vit E for oxidative stress
• Inclusion rate: 0.5–1.0% of total diet DM (follow nutritionist guidance)

⚠️ Sheep Warning: Copper-containing licks are not suitable for sheep. Keep out of reach of non-target species.

How to Use (Best-Practice)

1. Position licks near water or high-traffic shade to encourage even intake.
2. Provide enough stations (1 block per 15–20 head) to prevent bullying.
3. Monitor intake weekly and adjust access if consumption is too high/low.
4. Offer free-choice salt only if not already included at sufficient NaCl levels.
5. Always provide clean drinking water.
